Samsung Galaxy Glasses Launch Reportedly Scheduled for July 2026
As per a new SEDaily report coming out of South Korea, Samsung is on track to release its first Galaxy smart glass in July 2026. It is expected to be unveiled at the annual Galaxy Unpacked event for foldables, where the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Wide is also slated to debut.

If true, this will turn the usual foldable and Galaxy watch launch event, into a full fledged AI wearable showcase. Currently, Samsung has three new smart glasses in the pipeline - SM-O200P, SM-O200J and SM-O500. While we are not sure at the moment which one of these will debut at the event, however, it will surely set the stage for what's to come in the following months.
Samsung Galaxy smart Glass Design and Specifications (Leaked)
While there is no official word on Samsung entering the smart glass arena, multiple leaks have already surfaced giving us an idea what to expect. For instance, the previously leaked Samsung Galaxy smart glass design revealed a Meta RayBan-like Wayfarer design.

However, the biggest highlight will be the Android XR platform the smart glass is expected to be built upon. It is said to feature a custom Snapdragon AR1 chipset, specifically designed to integrate seamlessly into Samsung's connected ecosystem. Moreover, it is said to feature a 12 MP Sony IMX-681 camera and bone-conduction audio for open-ear listening. It is also said to pack a 155mAh battery capacity.
As for pricing, the Samsung Galaxy smart glass is expected to cost between $379 (approximately Rs 35,500) and $499 (approximately Rs 47,000). That said, since this is a speculation currently, take it with a pinch of salt. If Samsung's first AI smart glass will arrive in July, we expect the brand to tease or hint at its existence. So, stay tuned.
