2026 has just begun and Samsung is already preparing a major shake-up in its 2026 product lineup. Multiple Samsung products have been spotted in the IMEI databases, confirming their existence and highlighting what we can expect from the brand. From tablets to wearables, Samsung is gearing up to launch a host of devices in 2026.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S12+ returns, Tab S12 ditched

Spotted first by Smartprix on the GSMA IMEI database, the most significant revelation is that Samsung could revive the Galaxy Tab S12+ bearing the model number SM-X846B. For those unaware, the brand skipped the Tab S11+ last year.

However, it might come at the cost of ditching the standard Tab S12, which supposedly won't be launching this year. However, the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra will still be the brand's flagship tablet and it has been spotted with the model number SM-X946B. Samsung is abandoning the smaller entry-level flagship tablet, going all out on the larger Plus and Ultra variants.

Besides, Samsung's next-generation wearables have also appeared in the database. The Galaxy Watch 9 boasts model number SM-L345U, which will likely succeed the Galaxy Watch 8, whereas the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 with SM-L716U model number will be Samsung's rugged smartwatch offering for 2026.

While the listings don't reveal the launch dates of Samsung's 2026 lineup, these will likely share the stage with Samsung's upcoming foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8. Based on the timing, these devices could launch in Samsung's mid-year Galaxy Unpacked, usually held in August or September 2026.

As for the specifications, the Galaxy Tab S12 series could get a Dimensity 9500 processor, whereas the Galaxy Watch 9 and Watch Ultra 2 are rumoured to stick with Exynos W1000 SoC. More information about them should be revealed as we inch closer to launch, so stay tuned.
