As the launch of the Galaxy Z Fold 7 approaches, a new leak has brought Samsung’s tri-fold phone back into focus. From the looks of it, the upcoming triple foldable from the South Korean tech giant will pack quite the punch.
According to leaker PandaFlashPro on X (formerly Twitter), the Samsung tri-fold phone will miss out on under display camera tech. It does not come as a surprise since even the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to arrive without one.
"Tri-Fold Confirmed News"

In addition, the leaker suggests the triple foldable to arrive with "better durability," thanks to a combination of titanium and aluminium. This is much welcome, since the Galaxy Z Fold 6 arrived with an aluminium frame and did not borrow the Galaxy S24 Ultra's titanium.
For performance, the latest leak reveals the Samsung tri-fold to be powered by "Snapdragon only." While the leaker hasn't revealed anything else, one can expect the Snapdragon 8 Elite to power the device. However, we can't put it past the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor to power the device instead.
We also get to know that up to 16 GB of RAM will be complimenting the processor. Storage details have not been revealed yet, but one can expect it to offer up to 1 TB.

Besides, Samsung also showcased a bunch of its triple foldable concepts at the CES 2025 earlier this year. While the final product will most likely be way off, these concepts offered a good insight into what the brand's triple foldable display could look like.
While the leaker does call it "confirmed news," it is indeed too early to say anything. Besides, we would recommend taking it all with a grain of salt till the brand confirms anything officially.
