The Honor X9c 5G has now been confirmed to launch in India on July 7, 2025, at 12:00 PM IST via Amazon. It's touted to be the brand's toughest smartphone yet, featuring an IP65M rating alongside Honor Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 2.0 and more. 

Thanks to the updated Amazon microsite, we not only get to know of this launch date, but also of a couple of other key specifications. Going by that, the brand is calling it "The Unbreakable AI Smartphone."

The device flaunts the brand's in-house Ultra-Bounce Anti-Drop Technology 2.0, which promises a drop resistance of 2 metres. Additionally, the smartphone will also pack an IP65M rating which is said to offer a "360° water resistance".

In terms of battery, the Honor X9c 5G is confirmed to arrive with a big 6,600mAh battery and 66W fast charging. Honor also promises that the device can handle 30.2 hours of calls in 55°C and 20.1 hours of call in -30°C.

"The industry-leading battery coating works together with the Honor Power Management System to protect you at all times, providing a sense of security," promises Honor. 

Although the battery capacity is hefty, the phone itself is not at 189 grams and flaunts a thickness of 7.98mm. The phone is also said to arrive with a titanium-finish Black and Green colourways.

For photography and videography, the device will sport a dual rear camera setup with a 108 MP primary lens with OIS at the helm. In addition, this lens is said to be a 1/1.67-inch sensor with a f/1.75 aperture. It is also said to bring 3x lossless zoom and be backed by AI features like AI Night Mode, AI Eraser, AI OIS Motion Sensing, and more. 

The other camera lens has not been detailed out by the brand yet. However, going by the global launch, one can expect there to be a secondary 5 MP ultrawide lens. At the front, there could be a 16 MP shooter.

We don't know of the exact display size of the Honor X9c 5G either, but global launch suggests a 6.78-inch OLED panel. The good thing is that the microsite confirms this panel to arrive with a 1.5K resolution, 120 Hz refresh rate, 4,000 nits of typical brightness, 1.07 billion of colour depth and DCI-P3 colour gamut coverage.

For eye protection, the display is also said to offer "risk-free Dimming" of 3840 Hz. For binge watching content, there are also dual-stereo speakers. 

In terms of software, the Honor X9c 5G will be running on MagicOS 9.0 which will bring features like Magic Portal, Magic Capsule and Parallel Space. 

The processor has not been confirmed yet, but the global launch suggests the presence of the Snapdragon 6 Gen 1. 

With that said, we do expect to see more details get revealed in the coming days leading up to the launch. So, stay tuned.
