Motorola has silently announced two new mid-range phones in Europe – the Moto g57 and the g57 Power. Both smartphones feature almost identical specs, with the "Power" model bearing the biggest battery of the lot. Here is a quick specification, pricing and availability details breakdown of the new phones.
Moto g57 and g57 Power share a lot of key specs
Kicking things off with the display, both phones feature a 6.72-inch Full HD+ IPS LCD display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. The panel is plenty bright as well with a peak brightness of 1,050 nits.
Surrounding the display is a plastic mid-frame which is 8.6mm thick. Motorola has treated the g57 and the g57 Power with the same Pantone-curated vegan leather back just like its other smartphones. Both phones are offered in four vibrant colourways and weigh only 210 grams.

In terms of performance, both smartphones rely on the mid-range Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 chipset from Qualcomm. The SoC is further paired with 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage. There is also the option to virtually expand RAM by up to 16 GB and storage by up to 1 TB via microSD card expansion.
Software-wise, both smartphones ship with Hello UI based on Android 16 out of the box. Motorola is promising only 1 year of software upgrade and 3 years of security updates.

Moving on, camera specifications for both smartphones include a triple camera setup with an LED flash. It features a 50 MP main Sony LYT-600 sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultra-wide angle lens and a 2 MP flicker sensor. There is also an 8 MP selfie camera at the front.
Now, in terms of the battery capacity, this is where both phones differ. Where the standard g57 brings a 5,200mAh capacity to the table, the g57 Power takes it further with a 7,000mAh battery. However, both phones support only 30W fast USB-C charging.

Apart from this, both phones offer an IP64 rating along with MIL-STD 810H certification. They also feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual 5G SIM support, GPS, NFC and a USB-C 2.0 port.
Lastly, in terms of pricing, the Moto g57 has retailed in Europe for 249 euros (approximately Rs 25,500). The Moto g57 Power on the other hand, costs 279 euros (approximately Rs 28,500).
Both phones are offered in the sole 8 GB + 256 GB configuration. Interested folks can purchase the smartphones in the Pantone Pink Lemonade, Pantone Corsair, Pantone Fluidity and Pantone Regatta colour options.
