Summary

  • Flipkart has teased the upcoming Nothing Phone (3) in India with a microsite on its e-commerce platform.
  • The Phone (3) will be manufactured locally in India and will launch on July 1, 2025.
  • This will be Nothing's first true flagship-grade device, and it'll debut the company's new Dot Matrix tech.

We are just mere weeks away from the official unveiling of the Nothing Phone (3). And just like everyone else, we are waiting with bated breath to finally see what the London-based tech brand has been cooking for 2 years. And now, ahead of the scheduled unveiling, the Flipkart microsite for the Phone (3) has gone live.

Although the Flipkart page does not reveal any information regarding the smartphone's specifications, it does let us in on a few key details. The Phone (3) was confirmed to launch globally and in India on July 1, 2025, at 18:00 BST (or 10:30 PM IST). The same has been reiterated by the banner image on Flipkart.

Secondly, the first true flagship from the brand will be designed in London but will be manufactured locally in India. More specifically, in its manufacturing unit near Chennai. This is in line with what the brand revealed a few days back. And the same commitment has been reinforced via Flipkart.

Lastly, apart from this, we also know that the Nothing Phone (3) will carry the "A024" model number and, on launch, will be sold exclusively via Flipkart across the sub-continent.

Nothing Phone (3): What to Expect?

Nothing has been impressive in containing leaks and rumours surrounding the Phone (3). Even their teasers had been discreet. As a result, not much is known about the same.

However, what we do know is that the Phone (3) will see the ultimate departure of the signature "Glyph Interface" for an all-new Dot Matrix technology.

Also, last month at Google's Android Show, Nothing founder and CEO Carl Pei revealed that the Phone (3) will deliver an "all premium" experience by incorporating top-of-the-line materials and a major performance bump.

So, when it comes to the performance, we can expect Nothing to use either the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC or the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset for the Phone (3). So, this could drive up the cost of the device significantly.

As Carl Pei officially confirmed, the Phone (3) will retail for 800 pounds onwards (approximately Rs 92,500). However, given the brand's 'Made in India' initiative and a sustained commitment to the Indian smartphone market, we can expect an aggressively priced Phone (3) in the sub-continent.

Apart from this, a recent certification listing hints at a 5,150mAh battery capacity. As outed by reliable leaker Sudhanshu Ambhore via an X post made on June 16, 2025. The listing has also revealed a 100W-rated USB Type-C cable.

So, it is fair to speculate that the Phone (3) will launch with a battery below 5,500mAh and can very well support up to 100W of USB Type-C fast charging. However, this is not confirmed as of yet, just like the rest of the specifications, and only time will tell how well they translate to actuality.
