Samsung has introduced a new Warranty and Care Hub with One UI 9, unifying all the warranty and service-related details inside a single menu. Figuring out whether your phone is still under warranty usually means digging through emails, invoices, or a support website and Samsung is trying to fix that.
One UI 9 Warranty and Care Hub: What Does It Do?
As detailed by the official Samsung global newsroom, a new Warranty and Care menu is now the first thing that Galaxy phones running the One UI 9 update will see when they open the Settings page. The hub opens with information about the device currently being used.
The same page also informs the user of the remaining warranty period and whether the phone is eligible for Galaxy Care+ enrolment. Below that, the Warranty and Care menu will display all other related Galaxy devices and products linked to the same Samsung Account.

The Warranty and Care page covers every single Galaxy device the users own, be it a smartphone or a Galaxy TWS and smartwatch like the Galaxy Watch 9 and the Galaxy Buds 4 series. However, do note that the warranty information shown is only for the Galaxy smartphone and excludes the other peripheral Galaxy products.
Moving on, the second aspect of the Warranty and Care menu is its built-in Diagnostics tool. The feature runs checks across the battery, charging, sensors, touch response, and connectivity to identify what is going wrong with the Galaxy smartphone.

The toolkit then points users to the next steps on how to resolve them. These could range from on-device settings changes to suggested repairs and fixes by trained technicians. Samsung has also plugged Bixby into the hub.
Users can describe a problem in plain language to Bixby and get walked through possible solutions on the spot. Samsung's own example shows a user asking why the battery is draining quickly, with Bixby offering step-by-step suggestions without the user needing to switch screens.

Aside from that, if a problem requires professional attention, a "Request a repair" option will allow users to book a slot at a Samsung-authorised service centre directly from the Warranty and Care menu. Samsung notes that repairs are handled by certified technicians using genuine parts. For users who cannot make it to a service centre, remote support can be started from the same screen.
The most practical and useful feature is the repair cost estimator. After selecting an issue, users can see estimated repair costs for major parts alongside what the same repair would cost with Samsung Care+.
This makes the entire repair process transparent and lets users know of the cost involved beforehand. The estimates are also a way for Samsung to show users how Samsung Care+ benefits them. This could prove handy in markets like India, where Samsung is bundling Galaxy Care+ inside its Samsung Galaxy Forever Program.

At the time of writing, the One UI 9 Warranty and Care Hub is only limited to three phones - the Galaxy Z Fold 8, the Galaxy Z Flip 8 and the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra.
All three phones ship with One UI 9 out of the box and hence, they get the new unified assistance menu right away. That said, it should reach more phones shortly. To know if your Galaxy phone is eligible for One UI 9, check out Beebom Gadgets' dedicated One UI 9 eligible device list guide.
