Smartphone manufacturers are currently walking on eggshells due to the component crisis, and the effects are being translated into significant price increases for consumers. One of the affected manufacturers is OnePlus, which has now decided to increase the price of the Nord CE6, its second since launch.
OnePlus Nord CE6 Price in India Increased by Rs 2,000
Spotted first by tipster Sanju Chowdhary, OnePlus has increased the pricing of the OnePlus Nord CE6 by Rs 2,000 yet again, and it now costs Rs 33,999 for the base 8 GB + 128 GB variant. This brings the total price increase of the smartphone to Rs 4,000 since its launch, which is a significant markup for a mid-range smartphone.

For those unaware, the smartphone received its first price bump in May 2026 alongside the OnePlus Nord CE 6 Lite and OnePlus Nord 6. To put out a brief history, the Nord CE 6 was originally priced at Rs 29,999, then jumped to Rs 31,999 and now Rs 33,999.
The higher storage variant 8 GB + 256 GB also sees a Rs 2,000 increase and now costs Rs 36,999 as opposed to its previous Rs 34,999 price tag. However, while the price increase has been predominantly seen in mid-range smartphones, the OnePlus 15 and 15R have also seen price hikes in the last few months.

While Apple and Samsung have shielded users from the RAM crisis, it appears that they've reached an impasse.
