Summary

  • Samsung’s upcoming Exynos 2600 has appeared on Geekbench with 3,455 single-core and 11,621 multi-core points.
  • The leaked values are on par with the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor.
  • Exynos 2600 is confirmed to become the first 2nm mobile chip in the world and could power the upcoming Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung's upcoming flagship processor, the Exynos 2600, has now appeared on Geekbench. This gives a glimpse at the chipset that will most likely power at least one variant of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series.

Samsung's first 2nm chipset could challenge Qualcomm for the throne

The leak comes from leaker @Jukanlosreve on X, who spotted a Samsung device sporting the Exynos 2600 running on Geekbench version 6.4.0 with the S5E9965 SKU. It has managed to hit 3,455 points in the single-core test and has achieved 11,621 points in the multi-core test.

This brings the Exynos 2600 on par with the recently launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. While the single-core score is just behind by just 376 points, the upcoming SoC has shot past in the multi-core test by 97 points. Looks like Samsung has been working hard behind the scenes to launch its in-house flagship processor in 2026.

As for the chipset's configuration, it features a 10-core CPU with the 1x Cortex-X930 core clocked at 3.8 GHz, 3x Cortex-A730 cores clocked at 3.26 GHz and 6x Cortex-A730S cores clocked at 2.76 GHz. Additionally, Samsung has also confirmed that the Exynos 2600 will be the first 2nm processor in the world. It is fabricated using the brand's in-house 2nm GAA (Gate-All-Around) process.

Hence, with the Exynos 2600 Samsung might finally redeem itself and lodge its entry into the flagship processor race. The upcoming Galaxy S26 series is expected to debut with the Exynos 2600. While the Galaxy S26 Ultra will most likely ship with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+ could feature Samsung's in-house offering.

Moreover, we also spotted a new Exynos connectivity chip recently, which is also said to make its way via the Galaxy S26 lineup. Hence, we may be treated with multiple Exynos chipsets this time around.

That said, with reports of Galaxy S26 series launch delay, it could be sometime before we see the Exynos 2600 processor in action. We will make sure to test the SoC out thoroughly and share our findings here at Beebom Gadgets. So, stay tuned for that.
