Samsung has reportedly scheduled its next Unpacked event, where it will reveal the Galaxy S26 series. The firm was initially expected to hold the event in January, but insiders suggest it had to be rescheduled due to last-minute changes in the series.
Samsung Galaxy S26 series is coming soon
According to a Korean website, Money Today, the next Galaxy Unpacked event could be held on February 25, 2026, in San Francisco, USA. The information also suggests that Samsung aims to market the Galaxy S26 on its AI features heavily.

Samsung has traditionally held its first Galaxy Unpacked events of the year in January. However, the shift to February this year is reportedly due to a last-minute change in the product lineup.
This could be about the Pro model, which was initially expected to replace the standard Galaxy S variant, but it turns out Samsung might stick to the previous naming nomenclature.
With the Exynos 2600 yield being satisfactory, Samsung plans to adopt a dual-chip strategy where Exynos 2600 is expected to make its return to the high-end Ultra model. The Ultra in countries like Canada and the USA may stick to the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.

Latest rumours also suggest the Galaxy S26 Ultra could finally gain new camera hardware, including a new, larger 12 MP 3x telephoto snapper. Besides, the firm may also let go of the 12 MP ultrawide for a 50 MP unit and could also use a slightly better 200 MP main shooter.
Lastly, the Galaxy S26 Ultra battery capacity could go up to 5,400mAh, while the charging speed could get a modest increase from 45W to 60W. All the phones in the series will arrive with One UI 8.5 out of the box based on Android 16.
With around two months left for launch, more leaks about the specifications of the upcoming Galaxy S26 series should start dropping soon. The Galaxy S26, S26 Plus and S26 Ultra will be the major highlights of this Unpacked, while the previously cancelled Galaxy S26 Edge could arrive much later in June or July 2026.
