Vivo has officially unveiled the Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition in China. The series focuses on premium aesthetics with a metal build, high battery endurance, and upper-mid-range performance, all while maintaining an impressively slim profile. Besides, it should also ensure that buyers won't end up with a hole in their pockets.

Vivo S60 Series Specifications and Features

Starting with the design, Vivo has engineered both the S60 and the Vitality edition with nearly identical footprints, with a glass-metal sandwich. The front boasts a punch hole display, while the back remains relatively clean with the rectangular camera module stretched to the edges.

The chassis is quite thin at just 7.92 mm, despite packing a considerably large battery, which we will talk about later. The Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition also boast IP68 and IP69 ratings, making them invincible against dust and high-pressure water jets. The standard Vivo S60 weighs around 207 grams, whereas the S60 Vitality Edition is a bit lighter at 199 grams.

Coming to the display, both smartphones feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K 120 Hz flat display with an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner. The bezels are quite narrow at the front, and the phone also boasts dual stereo speakers, an X-axis linear motor for better haptics and a built-in IR blaster.

The biggest upgrade this year in both Vivo S60 and S60 VItality Edition is the 7,200mAh battery that can charge at 90W. Coming to the optics, both phones feature a 50 MP main camera and an 8 MP ultrawide sensor. However, the standard S60 goes a bit further by including a 50 MP 3x Telephoto lens
