Vivo is gearing up to refresh its mid-range S-series of smartphones with the upcoming launch of the Vivo S60 series. The brand recently unveiled the launch date of the Vivo S60 and the Vivo S60 Vitality Edition, but their specifications were mostly unknown. Well, that changes today as all the key specs of the phones have leaked.

Vivo S60 Series Tipped with Large Battery Units

The details arrive courtesy of tipster Experience More, who spotted all the key specifications of the phones on what looks like the China Telecom database. The database sheds light on the specifications of both Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition, revealing their storage variants, battery and processor specifications.

Confirming the previously leaked Vivo S60 battery leaks, the Vivo S60 and S60 Vitality Edition have been listed with a 7,200mAh battery capable of charging at 90W. Despite the large cells, the phones are relatively slim at 7.92 mm, which is one of the main selling points of the S series. The front could house a 6.59-inch 1.5K display, and the construction could be metal with a glass back.

Coming to the processor, the Vivo S60 is expected to arrive with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset, whereas the S60 Vitality Edition may stick to the Dimensity 7500 chipset, making it one of the first smartphones to arrive with the new SoC.

Aesthetically, the brand is expected to introduce a Starry Sea colourway, and the series as a whole will feature a textured, shimmering finish, which should enhance the in-hand feel of the upcoming Vivo phones.

Another major difference between the two is expected in the camera department. The standard S60 is expected to boast triple rear cameras with a 50 MP main, 8 MP ultrawide and a 50 MP periscope telephoto. The S60 Vitality Edition, however, will skimp on the telephoto lens.

The rest of the specifications remain identical, with the phones sharing the same IP68/69 rating, an X-axis linear motor for haptics, stereo speakers, an IR blaster and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner.

Storage options for the S60 could include 8 GB + 256 GB, all the way through 16 GB + 512 GB. The S60 Vitality Edition could max out at 12 GB + 512 GB. Vivo has also already confirmed that the S60 will arrive in Starry Sea, Summer Green, and Midsummer Grey colourways.

Vivo's S series is known for not going overboard with the pricing, and Vivo could continue the same philosophy with the S60 series. With the launch all set for May 29, 2026, more information about the smartphones should be revealed soon, so stay tuned.
