After the Vivo V60, it is now time for India and the rest of the world to experience the Vivo V70. While the brand has not officially started teasing the phone, it has already surfaced multiple times in the rumour mill. The latest one has arrived in the form of the smartphone's FCC certification.
Vivo V70 FCC certification hints at its global release
Tech publication TheTechOutlook first spotted the Vivo V70 on the FCC certification website. The upcoming phone has been listed with the V2538 model number and FCC ID: 2AUCY-V2538. This means that Vivo is planning to introduce the V70 to global markets as well in 2026.

For context, the FCC database logs and publishes details of devices seeking approval to be sold in the U.S. It also serves as the entry point for devices that are going to be introduced into the European Union and the U.K. So, the Vivo' V70's appearance there only means one thing - the smartphone is going global.
Also, the Vivo V70 Geekbench listing went live recently with the same model number. So, it is clear that the suspect in question is the Vivo V70. Moreover, the listing has also revealed some of the key details of the phone. For instance, it is going to ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 out of the box. It will also bring 12 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage to the table.

Aside from that, Vivo V70 will very likely rock the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and is going to launch globally and in India as a rebranded Vivo S50, which recently launched in China. So, aside from the processor change, expect to see the following specs with the phone:
- 6.59-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display
- 50MP main camera, 50 MP telephoto and 8 MP ultra-wide lens
- 50MP selfie camera
- 6,500mAh battery with 90W fast USB-C charging
That said, nothing has been confirmed yet. So, take these details with a pinch of salt. We will be sure to report on anything concrete once more details surface.
