The flagship Vivo X300 series is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated smartphones this year. Now, the brand has confirmed some serious camera upgrades for the Vivo X300 Pro, highlighting its professional-grade imaging and video capabilities.
Vivo X300 Pro will sport a Hybrid Frame-HDR technology
The brand took to its official Weibo handle to confirm that the upcoming Vivo X300 Pro will debut with a 50 MP Sony LYT-828 primary rear camera sensor. Vivo has also confirmed its proprietary Hybrid-Frame HDR technology for the device, offering over 100 dB HDR.
Additionally, the brand also confirmed gimbal-level anti-shake stabilisation for the flagship. There's also a 120 FPS dual-track EIS image stabilisation to bring smoother handheld recording to the phone.

Vivo is also working closely with MediaTek to bring Imagiq's video pipeline bottom-layer reconstruction for advanced video processing capabilities to the X300 Pro. The smartphone is also said to come with multi-focal length Dolby Vision recording as well as Dolby Vision 4K @ 120 FPS cinematic slow motion.
Further, the smartphone is also said to come with 4K Movie Portrait and 4K @ 60 FPS 10-bit log video across all focal lengths.
In addition to all that, Vivo has also confirmed that the X300 Pro will allow 4K @ 120 FPS Dolby Vision video editing in CapCut. This will ultimately make the flagship a very comprehensive and reliable tool for creators who want to shoot and edit high-quality content on a single device.

Apart from this, the Vivo X300 Pro cameras were also officially confirmed to flaunt a 200 MP custom-made Samsung HPB Thanos periscope telephoto sensor. Apart from that, leaks suggest that the device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500 and feature a 6.78-inch QHD+ 120 Hz quad curved AMOLED display. A 7,000mAh battery is also expected to fuel it all.
For now, this is all that's known about the upcoming flagship. However, since the phones are expected to launch sometime around the October to November 2025 timeframe, expect to see more official details surface over the coming weeks.
