After the launch of its flagship smartphones, Samsung has been focusing on its mid-range lineup, especially the A series. The brand recently launched the Galaxy A57 and A37 and is soon expected to unveil the Galaxy A27. Well, a new leak has just appeared, giving us our first look at the Galaxy A27 design and hinting at the series' departure from the teardrop notch.
Samsung Galaxy A27 Could Boast a Punch-Hole Display
The renders arrive courtesy of Hoteudeals and OnLeaks via Android Headlines, showing us our first look at the Lavender Galaxy A27 smartphone from all directions.
The most significant visual upgrade is at the front as Samsung has decided to move to a punch hole display, ditching the teardrop notch on the Samsung Galaxy A26 completely.

The leaked CAD renders alongside the information from Hoteudeals suggest the smartphone will measure 162.3 x 7.6 x 7.9 mm in overall dimensions. The phone will reportedly feature a 6.7-inch display with relatively thin bezels. At the back, Samsung is sticking to its vertical triple camera layout alongside an LED flash.
While we now have a comprehensive look at the design of the smartphone, internal specifications are still subject to rumours. A few leaks earlier this month suggested the phone's internals could be fueled by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W fast charging. Additionally, it could be powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The Galaxy A27 was spotted on Geekbench, rocking the same processor.

As for the other specifications, Samsung should pack in an AMOLED panel and a triple-rear camera setup consisting of a 50 MP primary sensor, 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro. And since it will be a budget offering, storage variants could start from 4 GB and 128 GB.
The exact launch date is also unknown. Since this is still very much early information, we suggest you take it with a grain of salt. More information should be unveiled as we inch closer, so stay tuned.
