iOS 27 Leak Shows More Siri AI Animations Apple Didn't Demo

One of the new additions to iOS 27 was the new Siri AI and the expansion of Apple Intelligence features, expected to end the AI feature drought on iPhones. However, while the live demos on the stage showed us the new Siri AI animations in action, it turns out Apple hasn't shown us all of them. Recent information suggests there might be more than just the glowling pill in iOS 27 Siri animations.

More Siri Animations are Coming to iOS 27

The information arrives courtesy of 9to5Mac on X, who posted that iOS 27 contains a set of colourful Siri animation assets for Apple iPhones. As for what kind of new animations, the post highlights assets for when the AI is in its listening and thinking states, something that Apple hasn't shown us yet.

The post also contains a short video that appears to combine both listening and thinking animations. It's the standard Apple Intelligence logo with more shadows and effects, giving it a 3D structure. When listening, the logo rotates right and left while exhibiting slight pulsation between the two stuck ribbons.

When thinking, the logo starts rotating to the right, with both the ribbons pulsating, shrinking and bulging outwards from one side. The entire logo carries a gradient colour scheme with the most dominant hues being orange, pink, blue, and Purple.

That said, comments under the posts have pointed out that the Apple Intelligence "star" may have been replaced by something else entirely. Another user pointed out that Apple might still retain this animation in its writing tools, while the new Siri AI could use the Orb-like animation.

Apple's Siri AI has been turning heads since it finally incorporated Apple's much-awaited vision for AI on its iPhones. Recently, Apple explained why Siri AI in iOS 27 took so long, and it was because they had to scrap a few versions on the way. Now that the new Siri AI is here, it should only get better over the course of iOS 27 betas.
