Poco has already revealed that it is launching the F8 Pro and the F8 Ultra smartphones next week. Ahead of the official unveiling, the brand has started teasing the key details of both phones. Now, the brand has revealed the battery capacity of the phones.
Poco F8 series confirmed to arrive with above 6,000mAh battery capacities
The official Poco Global X handle has confirmed the battery capacities of the upcoming Poco F8 series. The Poco F8 Ultra has been revealed to feature a 6,500mAh battery capacity, while the Poco F8 Pro will sport a 6,210mAh cell inside.

This confirms our previously reported leak, which stated that the Poco F8 battery will be lower in capacity compared to its Redmi counterpart. For context, the Redmi K90 and the Redmi K90 Pro Max, which will debut as the Poco F8 lineup globally, pack 7,100mAh and 7,560mAh batteries, respectively.
That said, while the official charging speed of the phones is still under wraps, expect Poco to reveal those details soon as well. As for the other specs, the Poco F8 Pro will be a rebrand of the Redmi K90 and the Poco F8 Ultra will be a rebadged Redmi K90 Pro Max.

In a previous X post, Poco also mentioned that while the F8 Pro will bring the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, the F8 Ultra is getting the latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip from Qualcomm. Aside from that, the F8 series will become the first smartphones to feature acoustic partnership with Bose for 'Sound by Bose' branding.
As part of this collaboration, the F8 Ultra will be fitted with an actual physical oversized Bose-tuned woofer with a 250mm² large vibration chamber. It will be capable of delivering up to 200 Hz of bass band and 7W max output.

As for the other key specs, both smartphones will also likely bring 2K 120 Hz 12-bit OLED displays, Android 16-based HyperOS 3 update, 50 MP telephoto camera, IP68 rating and more.
With the Poco F8 series global launch event scheduled for November 26, 2025, we will know more details regarding both smartphones. The F8 Pro and F8 Ultra are first launching in Indonesia. Expect the devices to reach more regions thereafter, including India. However, aside from the F8 Pro, we don't believe the F8 Ultra will make its way to the country just like the previous-gen models.
