It is almost time for the new flagship Galaxy smartphones to arrive. While we are still a few weeks away from launch, leaks and rumours have consistently managed to keep us in the loop. Now, the Galaxy S26+ has cropped up online via its Geekbench listing, giving us a clear idea about its performance.
Galaxy S26+ is getting the all-new Exynos 2600 chipset
First spotted by tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Samsung Galaxy S26+ has appeared on Geekbench 6.5.0 with the model number samsung SM-S947N. However, it's the Geekbench OpenCL GPU score that we get to know and the phone has managed to hit 24,964 points. As per the listing, the phone will feature 12 GB of RAM and Android 16.

As for the processor, the listing mentions a deca-core chipset with 6 cores clocked at 2.76 GHz, 3 cores clocked at 3.26 GHz, and 1 core clocked at 3.80 GHz. It is without a doubt that we are looking at the brand new Exynos 2600 processor. The Samsung Galaxy S26+ is going to feature the world's first 2nm SoC.
This makes sense since Samsung reserves its in-house chips for the standard and plus variants, while the Ultra model gains the latest Snapdragon SoC. This year Exynos 2600 is looking to compete in the big leagues with new Cortex-C1 Ultra and Cortex-C1 Pro CPU cores. This is also the first mobile in the world to come embedded with an actual heatsink.

Hence, it will be exciting to see how the Galaxy S26+ holds up with the Exynos 2600 and the Heat Path Block cooling tech. The phone is also said to feature a 6.7-inch Full HD+ 120 Hz AMOLED 2X display. Also, an early Galaxy S26 Plus specs leak outed a new 12 MP telephoto camera for the phone.
That said, since the Galaxy S26 series launch is expected to happen in February 2026, we still have close to a month till the smartphone officially drops. It will be joined by the standard Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26 Ultra.
