The Galaxy S26 series manages to crop up in the rumour mill now and then. We already know substantial details about the upcoming flagship phones in the lineup. Now, it looks like Samsung has joined the leak party to accidentally reveal the Galaxy S26 design.
Galaxy S26 series design mistakenly revealed
The folks over at Android Authority spotted the official renders of the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra in a recent One UI 8.5 leaked build. It has revealed the rough outline of the three phones along with their internal codenames.

As shown in the above picture, there are a total of four images of the upcoming phones. The ones with the codename M1 and M2 are said to be the Galaxy S26 and the Galaxy S26+, respectively. It aligns with the recently leaked Galaxy S26+ CAD renders. Unlike previous models, Samsung is introducing a vertical, pill-shaped camera island around the triple rear camera setup of its upcoming phones.

As for the Galaxy S26 Ultra, it has been assigned the M3 codename and could ditch the floating lens design in favour of the pill-shaped camera deco. While three of the cameras sit on the island, the other two sit outside. This also falls in line with the earlier Galaxy S26 Ultra case leak that revealed the same distinct markers for the smartphone.
So, it looks like the design of the upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup is almost confirmed. This will bring a major shift to the back design, which has already managed to garner mixed reactions. That said, since the Galaxy S26 launch is expected to happen in February 2026, we still have some time left and can expect the brand to officially start teasing the phone soon.
