Samsung is officially rolling out its third One UI 9.0 Beta update to its flagship Galaxy S26 series. After the brand rolled out two betas in rapid succession, the third beta arrives across global test regions, bringing a myriad of bug fixes and improvements across display, home screen, camera and system apps.

Samsung Deploys One UI 9.0 Beta 3 for Galaxy S26 Series

Reported first by SamMobile, Samsung is rolling out the One UI 9.0 Beta 3 update for Galaxy S26 users. The update weighs around 1.78 GB and carries the build number S94xBXXU3ZZF7. It integrates the latest June 2026 security patch as well and while it doesn't bring any new features to Samsung phones, it brings system optimisations and reliability.

According to the official One UI 9 Beta 3 changelog, the beta addresses a long list of user-reported bugs, glitches and stability bottlenecks. Starting with the Display and UI fixes, there was a glitch where the background would abruptly turn black when trying to expand the status bar.

The update also fixes a white-screen glitch during incoming phone calls and fixes errors related to privacy display (Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra only) when toggling the Quick Settings panel or configuring routines.

Additionally, there are improvements to the Home screen and Navigation, where Samsung has addressed a bug preventing users from swiping left or right across the home screen panels using the S Pen. The brand has also corrected an issue where the live camera preview screen would appear cropped under specific conditions.

Besides, the One UI 9 Beta 3 update also optimises auto-focus accuracy when using the 30x zoom and addresses a bug that triggered random phone reboots during live video streaming. Lastly, a data-refresh glitch that prevented lock screen widgets from updating has also been fixed alongside a bug that affected scrolling in the native Files app.

Apart from all the bug fixes and improvements, Samsung has streamlined the process of joining and exiting from Betas. Users, once enrolled, can join and exit them freely, besides having a permanent One UI Beta Home section in the Samsung Members app. Users would no longer need to search for the Beta banner to sign in.

With the Galaxy S26 series finally receiving the third Beta, One UI 9 Beta for the Galaxy S25 series is also in the works and could roll out any day now. Besides, the brand was also found testing One UI 9 for the Galaxy A57. Meanwhile, some of its upcoming phones, such as the Galaxy A18, could arrive with One UI 9 right out of the box.

For those unaware, One UI 9.0 is expected to debut first in the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Galaxy Z Flip 8. Considering everything goes according to plan, the software should be seeded to all One UI 9 eligible devices by the end of 2026.
