OnePlus is preparing to enter the budget smartphone space in India with its upcoming N6 launch. It is expected to start from less than Rs 20,000 and is confirmed to bring a massive 8,000mAh battery. Now, it has landed on Geekbench, revealing the kind of performance it is going to offer.
OnePlus N6 Could Feature Dimensity 6300 Chipset
The upcoming OnePlus N6 has just been spotted on the Geekbench 6.6.0 benchmarking platform by tipster Abhishek Yadav on X and it has been registered with the OnePlus CPH2955 model number. The phone has managed to score 788 points in the single-core test, while managing 1,993 points in the multi-core test. The test unit is rocking 6 GB of RAM and running on Android 16, likely OxygenOS 16.

As for the processor, the listing has revealed an octa-core chip with six cores clocked at 2.00 GHz and two cores clocked at 3.20 GHz and one core clocked at 2.40 GHz. Given how familiar the 6 + 2 CPU architecture is, we believe this could either be the Dimensity 6300 or Dimensity 6400 chipset. This is contrary to the Dimensity 7400 SoC that leaks were previously suggesting could power the phone.
If true, this will make sense since the OnePlus N6 is widely expected to be a rebranded Realme P4R, which is powered by the D6300. Moreover, thanks to the ongoing RAM crisis, we have already seen a few phones priced around the Rs 20,000 range and even much higher, featuring the Dimensity 6300 chip.

Recently, the OnePlus N6 battery capacity was confirmed to be that of a monstrous 8,000mAh, which is the same capacity as the OnePlus Nord CE 6. In addition, leaks claim that the phone will bring a smooth LCD display, a 50 MP main camera, a plastic build and an IP65 rating. OnePlus has already shared the phone's design in black and blue colourways, and it resembles the Nord CE 6.
That said, since the OnePlus N6 India launch date is confirmed for this month's end, we should hear more details about the phone in the coming days.
