Hot on the heels of the launch of the One UI 9.0 beta program for the Galaxy S26 series, Samsung has pushed out a new update for its pro-grade photography app, Expert RAW. This release is designed to ensure the advanced camera software remains stable for early adopters testing the upcoming Android 17 update.
Samsung Expert RAW Gets a New Update
Reported first by Galaxy Hub, the new Expert RAW update carries version number 6.0.00.15 and is currently limited to the Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra models running the One UI 9.0 Beta. Eligible users can grab the update directly from the Samsung Galaxy Store.

The update weighs around 900 MB, and despite its hefty size, there are no new photography tools or features in the release. Besides, the official One UI 9.0 Galaxy S26 changelog doesn't mention any new camera features. Therefore, this 900 MB update is most likely filled with bug fixes and performance enhancements.
The changelog on the Galaxy Store page gives no insights either. It still contains the older changelog about the Ocean Mode and Virtual Reflector features, which rolled out with the Galaxy S26 series and One UI 8.5 update.
Smartphone photography enthusiasts are eating well this week as Google also rolled out its Snapseed 4.0 update on Android smartphones. It brings a completely new design with more features and a built-in Pro camera with manual controls.
With the first One UI 9 Beta hitting the Galaxy S26, more information about all the new features and improvements should bubble up as time progresses. The stable update is expected to arrive on Galaxy Z Fold 8, Z Flip 8 and Z Fold Wide, launching later in 2026, so stay tuned.
